This document is a review of the Mongolian primary mortgage market USAID. It reviews that, the Mongolian Mortgage Corporation (MIK) Mortgage Market Review consultancy was completed in tandem with the Bank of Mongolia (BoM) Securitization Advisor consultancy. The purpose of the MIK Mortgage Market Review was to identify what, if any, standardization exists within the Mongolian mortgage market regarding policies and procedures relating to mortgage loan origination, underwriting, collateral appraisal, pricing, servicing, and reporting and subsequently to identify what mortgage loan products are generated as a result of the existing market policies and procedures.
