Los Angeles has an unprecedented housing crisis. It requires over half a million affordable rental homes to meet the current demand in Los Angeles County. The high cost of housing is relative to income levels has led to Los Angeles bearing the third-highest rent burden in the nation. The government is trying to subsidize housing and large-scale developments but this is not enough to meet the demand for housing. They are doing efforts to address the housing shortage but still do not have a concrete solution in this regard. In  LA’s housing crisis is the fact that only not solve the traditional model of affordable housing. We will go another solution like Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) could be built more quickly with a lower cost and help homeowners to build wealth. California is a leader in progressive Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) policy and Los Angeles is underway. The structure of  Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) are independent rental units and have their own entrances, kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living rooms. They can be attached or detached from the primary residence.
