This presentation gives information about Infonavit, Mexico’s leading mortgage provider, which has enabled its transition from informal to formal housing on a grand scale and helped reduce its housing deficit to 28.3% by 2014. It is an autonomous institution of Mexico in which the corporate government includes equal representation of the labor sector, the employer sector, and the federal government.
