This platform includes a resource center with photos, audio, and video clips, with a special focus on affordable housing in South and Southeast Asia and beyond.
We provide a platform for exchange of ideas and sharing of related knowledge by all concerned from around the world.

The ACASH, a non-profit and a socially responsible organization is located at Karachi-Pakistan, received its initial funding from Mr. Zaigham Mahmood Rizvi, the Founder Trustee.
Mr. Zaigham is a career banker with a focus on development finance. He has served in many prestigious and frontline Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) in Pakistan and Gulf. Zaigham is associated with Association of Development Finance Association of Asia & Pacific (ADFIAP). He has served as Vice Chairman ADFIAP. His work had received several received recognitios from ADFIAP such as the “Outstanding CEO”, the “Life Time Membership” Awards.
Over the years Zaigham has developed a passion for Affordable Housing and Housing Finance for Economically Weaker Sections of the society. He has extensively worked on Housing Micro-Finance projects in Africa and South Asia. His direct experience in the field of Housing and Housing Finance spreads over 25 countries from different geographical regions around the globe covering Africa, Middle-East, South-Asia, East-Asia and Pacific. He was also a part of Pro-Poor Housing Initiative taken by UN-ESCAP, and a World Bank study on “Expanding Housing Finance to the Underserved in South-Asia”.
Zaigham serves as an Expert Consultant on Housing and Housing Finance to the World Bank, IFC, UN-ESCAP, UN-HABITAT, CMHC of Canada, ShoreBank Int’l and other international agencies. Mr. Zaigham played a pioneering role in establishing Asia-Pacific Union for Housing Finance (www.apuhf.info) and is serving as its Member Advisory Board and Secretary General. He is regular contributor to Housing Finance International-HFI, the Journal of International Union for Housing Finance-IUHF. Zaigham is also a regular speaker to international Workshops/Conferences on housing and housing finance.
Aziz is a Harvard Law School graduate and is a former Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, a quasi-judicial office he held for almost 15 years. At Harvard Law School, in addition to his Master of Laws (LLM), Aziz completed a postgraduate certificate program in international taxation and also trained in developing public policy and legal frameworks on commerce and taxation.
In addition to his civil service experience, Aziz has rich exposure of working with different companies in Pakistan and abroad including Tax Analysts, a Virginia, USA based tax law publishing company; Engro Corporation (formerly Exxon); Pakistan International Airlines; Agricultural Development Bank and a stint at the World Bank in Washington, DC.
Aziz has advised numerous international and national clients on taxation, financial and corporate matters and has represented in mediation or litigation of controversies. He has advised federal and subnational governments in Pakistan of various development policy and institutional development issues in addition to working as a business and taxation lawyer representing multinational corporations and prestigious Pakistani companies.
Aziz is also a professionally trained mediator accredited internationally by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution, UK. He is part of an IFC-supported small core group of mediators to pilot modern commercial mediations in Pakistan. Aziz is a also regular contributor and correspondent to the weekly Tax Notes International, and Worldwide tax Daily, USA based professional publications of global acclaim.
His areas of interest in practice, writing, and teaching include public policy research and advisory, fiscal laws, international taxation, contracts, and corporate matters.
Ghazanfar (Ghaz) Shah is a senior managing director heading K2 Integrity’s Investigations and Disputes practice in the UAE. With more than 20 years of experience performing complex investigations across the Middle East, Africa, South Asia, Europe, and the United States, Ghaz is a trusted advisor to government entities, sovereign wealth funds, major real estate developers, and multinational companies based in the region.
Ghazanfar is an experienced fraud investigator and forensic accountant who assists clients with forensic accounting investigations, financial and forensic reviews, and disputes across multijurisdictional borders. He has routinely been involved in helping multinational companies deal with Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and UK Bribery Act violations by their subsidiaries, partners, and/or their distributor/agents within the Middle East, Asia, and Africa region
