Housing shortage in Pakistan has assumed an alarming proportion which requires a careful evaluation, assessment and well planed strategies to minimize housing backlog. Government has initiated practical steps in this direction and has formed a working group to achieve the goal of affordable housing envisaged in vision 2030. The activity of providing the low cost housing must be regular features of government’s plans.
