The Housing/Transportation Task force was created in July 2001 to assist the U.S. Millennial Housing Commission in addressing crosscutting issues involving both transportation and housing. These issues significantly affect the future of housing supply, adequacy, affordability, and suitability in the context of livable, well-functioning communities. The task force has met 18 times. The vision, principles, discussion, and recommendations below gather a wide-range of views on important issues concerning the relationship of housing and transportation for the Commission’s review and decision.
