Research on Cost Control of Construction Project Based on the Theory of Lean Construction and BIM
Lean construction is a new management mode for construction projects that is especially suitable for complex, changeable, and speedy projects. A building information model (BIM) is “computable digital information” created and utilized during the design and construction of buildings.
This paper takes a construction project as the object and combines BIM technology with lean construction theory. Both of them will play a collective role in the cost control of construction projects. A case study is made to illustrate that construction projects, lean construction, and BIM technology can control their cost-effectively.
