Promote Housing supply on market based solutions. The priority sector is Social Housing segment of population based. Horizontal solutions (Row Houses) in suburbs with lower land cost. Vertical solution (Apartments) in cities with expensive land. Support affordability through policy interventions. The Government to encourage and support market based housing and housing finance solutions. The fund based involvement of the Government to be avoided. In case the Government provides land for Public and for Public Private Partnerships, it will be at Govt’s official or market price. Government’s financial responsibility to be limited to provision of external infrastructure and logistic support upto project site. All stakeholders to be taken on board for better planning and fast-track executions.
