This document is based on proposed housing sector incentives & market re-engineering measures by the Ministry of Housing of Kenya. Despite the importance of housing, the Kenyan housing sector is characterized by deteriorating housing conditions countrywide arising from demand that far surpasses supply, particularly in urban areas. This report addresses these issues and discusses Housing Sector Incentives and Market Re-engineering Measures.
