Recommendations and broad based areas on separate housing finance prudential regulations. Study of the existing prudential regulations of SBP revealed that there are number of areas that need to be considered and covered in full-fledged mortgage prudential regulations to align them with the needs of housing finance sector; hence providing impetus to need of separate housing finance prudential regulations in the country.
