This is the first in a series of three sections of a digest of Circular No. 151 of USA, “Wall Plaster: Its Ingredients, Preparation and Properties”, [January 9, 1924], issued by the Bureau of Standards, and deals with the preparation of plaster bases. The information in Circular No. 151 was originally compiled with the cooperation of the Bureau of Standards‘ Plastering Conference (1925).
