The California Affordable Housing Pipeline
California must produce 1 million affordable homes over the next decade. Heeding this call, the affordable housing sector is actively designing, seeking public approvals, and working to secure funding for new developments – building out the pipeline of affordable homes. It illustrates the enormous progress the state has made, but also an impact yet to be fully realized. This brief outlines the latest data on the Pipeline and outlines four key actions that federal and state leaders can take to unlock and scale affordable housing.
