Pakistan: The Pillar That Holds The Roof

Ashiana housing program comes to the fore as a paradigm shift in the housing policy and development of Punjab for two factors i.e. the institutional mechanism as the scheme is being developed by a parastatal body called Punjab Land Development Company (PLDC) instead of the traditional administrative entities and constructed houses are being delivered to the eligible people instead of site-and services schemes.
